Cześć, mam modem USB z którego mogę się łączyć poprzez ORANGE z siecią korporacyjną.

Próbuję się tym bawić pod LINUXEM ale niestety bez skutku. Do rzeczy.

Modem to HUAWEI lsusb:

Bus 002 Device 003: ID 12d1:15ca Huawei Technologies Co., Ltd. E3131 3G/UMTS/HSPA+ Modem (Mass Storage Mode)
 

Znalazłem kilka opisów w necie i różnie wyglądał plik /etc/wvdial.conf. Ostatecznie na obecną chwilę mam tak jak poniżej.

Niestety po wydaniu polecenia wvdial orange, jako root oczywiście, mam w terminalu niewiele pozytywnych wieści:

Nie wiem dlaczego tak, może ktoś ma jakieś doświadczenie. Nie chce mi się włączać WINDOWS tylko po to żeby sprawdzać wpis na pewnej witrynie.

kde-plasma-nm odinstalowałem bo rządzi aż nadto połączeniami. Czasem potrzebowałem programując modemy czy bramki VOIP zmieniać "z palca" ustawienia kart sieciowych więc NM wyłączyłem.

Dla dobra nauki jednak zobaczę czy w czymś nie pomoże.

 

Celowo użyłem "cytat" bo "code" nie zadziałało - nie wiem dlaczemu ;-)

Skorzystałem z Network Managera i skonfigurowałem połączenie za pomocą graficznej nakładki (wpisując podobnie jak w kreatorze WINDOWS). Jednak są nadal trudnośći z połączeniem się poprzez modem.
Oczywiście APN wpisałem taki jak powinien być.

Otóż okazało się że w pamięci modemu HUAWEI jest Linuxowa wersja MobilePartner.

Próbowałem zainstalować i powidło sie ale częściowo tzn. podczas kompilacji wystąpiły błędy:

Okienko programu MobilePartner otwiera się i wygląda zupełnie tak samo jak to z WINDOWS. skonfigurowałem połączenie zgodniez instrukcją mojej firmy jednak połączenie nie zostaje nawiązane.

Dziękuję wszystkim za pomoc, postanawiam jednak odpuścić - modem nie jest moją własnością i jak skopię coś faktycznie to potem nawet nie będzie połączenia ze służbowego kompa.

i nie ma niestety do pobrania niczego dla systemu Linux, chociaż jak wspomniałem  w pamięci modemu znalazłem MoblePartner -a dla Linux.
