Właśnie ściągnąłem sobie liste dostępnych pakietów w yum'ie i ku memu zaskoczeniu wyskoczyło coś takiego

Interesuje mnie ten python. Po sprawdzeniu okazało się, że mam ten plik, a ani apt, ani yum nie wołają, że jest on nie aktualny i wymaga upgrade'u.

W FC2 używany jest już rpm w wersji 4.3, więc będziesz musiał odinstalować apt-geta i synaptica, bo były one skompilowane pod starszą wersję. Jak będziesz chciał, to potem możesz sobie je z powrotem doinstalować (apt-get i synaptic - paczki skompilowane pod nowego (_rpma_ → RPM-a) ORT). Jeśli nie lubisz yum, to też możesz nimi aktualizować system (chodzi mi o wersję testing).

Interesuje mnie ten python. Po sprawdzeniu okazało się, że mam ten plik, a ani apt, ani yum nie wołają, że jest on nie aktualny i wymaga upgrade'u.

W FC2 nie ma już pakietów redhat-config-mouse itd. bo zamieniono ich nazwy na system-config-mouse (żeby było jasne, że to nie jest RedHat). Będziesz musiał je ręcznie usunąć i ewentualnie doinstalować ich odpowiedniki.

 

A co do pythona, to yum chce go zaktualizować do wersji 2.3, tyle, że mu zależności nie pozwalają (pakiety redhat-*). To, że apt-get nic nie woła wynika z faktu, iż nie posiada odpowiednich repozytoriów w sources.list. Odnośnie yum - jesteś pewien? Sprawdź co pokaże

yum update python

Wyskakuje to samo

Wszystko jest w porządku - yum chce zaktualizować pythona, ale zależności mu przeszkadzają.

Powywalaj niepotrzebne wpisy z /etc/yum.conf, bo yum przeszukuje sprzeczne ze soba repozytoria, co wydłuża czas jego działania.

 

Albo zostaw sam wpis dotyczący wersji rawhide, albo zostań przy wersji stabilnej (ale zmień adresy na jakieś szybkie mirrory, bo standardowy jest przeciążony i praktycznie nie da się z niego nic ściągnąć - osobiście polecam http://mirror.hiwaay.net ). Jakbyś chciał, to możesz przeczytać jeszcze to. Aha, jeśli aktualizowałeś już yum przy użyciu apta, to wpisy powinny wskazywać już na jakiś szybszy mirror.
