Witam

 

Mam następujący problem, po zainstalowaniu Fedory 9 coś mi źle dysk skonfigurowało i chodzi dość wolno:

Oba to dyski SATA 2 , tej samej firmy. Na F7,F8 i F9 updatowanej z F8 , nie było tego problemu dopiero po czystej instalacjisię pojawił.

 

Tak jakby UDMA się wyłączyło, ale myślałem że tego na dyskach sata włączać nie trzeba.

 

Będę wdzięczny za wszelką pomoc.

tylko czemu DMA jest już zajęte (to znaczy wiem, sda je zajął ale móg by się podzielić ;] ) i jak to poprawić?

Choć PIO4 powinno mi dać więcej do 16MB/s , mam tylko 1,5MB/s

tu jest chyba rozwiązanie mojego problemu, tylko jak się blacklistuje w fedorze ?

No a jak to blacklist zrobić ? U ciebie nie zadziało bo na jednym kabelku z cd to dysk zawsze zwalnia ( chyba że to cd z szybkim kontroleram ;] )

 

Edit:

dodałem blacklist ata_generic do /etc/modprobe.d/blacklist, niestety nie pomogło a mi się pomysły skończyły

Ja walcząc z brakiem DMA przy DVD odkryłem, że za ten komunikat

 

simplex DMA is claimed by other device, disabling DMA

 

jest odpowiedzialny pata_acpi, przynajmniej u mnie tak było, bo po blacklistowaniu tego modułu komunikat zniknął. Niestety mojego problemu to nie rozwiązało, ale może ten rozwiąże.

 

A blacklist zrobiłem tak, że dodałem

blacklist pata_acpi

do /etc/modprobe.conf, następnie wykonałem

mkinitrd -f /boot/initrd-<wersja kernela>.img <wersja kernela>

i restart systemu

 

Pomoże, nie pomoże....spróbowac można :)
