problem ze starym monitorem

Witam i o pomoc prosze.

Moj problem jest nastepujacy:

mam dosyc stary monitor 14 calowy, ma jakies 10 lat i zainstalowalem Fedore. Lecz na monitorze zakres wyswietlanego obrazu jest duzo mniejszy od samego ekranu. Jest to lekko denerwujace. Sam monitor jest nie duzy a w dodatku jeszcze nie na calosci jest wyswietlany obarz. Probowalem to jakos zmnienic ale nie jestem specem od Linuksa i nic z tego mi nie wyszlo. Po obwodzie ekranu jest czarna ramka szerokosci jakis 5 cm z kazdej strony. Podczas instalacji Fedora nie wykryla monitora i ustawilem go na standartowy monitor 800x600. Probowalem tez programu “xvidtune” lecz to nie wiele zmienialo. Zakres dopuszcalnych zmian byl bardzo maly, praktycznie nie zauwazalny, a przy wiekszych X-y sie wysypywaly i restartowaly. Natomiast w trybie tekstowym powieszchnia ekranu jest wykorzystywana prawie w 100%. Mam garte graficzna zintegrowana na plycie SiS 650
