Witam:)

Mam mały problem. Przeczytałem na fomrum jak wgrać nowe sterowniki ATI. Postępowałem zgodnie z opisem:

1.yum install kmod-fglrx / 2.fglrxconfig initial itd

I nie wiem czy mi się wszystko wgrało gdy wpisałem:

fglrxinfo

Czy to jest wgrane czy nie.

Bo chodzi mi o uzyskanie lepszej częstotliwości odświeżania. bo przy częstotliwości 1024/768 uzyskuje 60, a chciałbym więcej. czy się (_wogóle_ → w ogóle) ORT da. thx nara

/etc/X11/xorg.conf

Jak masz tam sterownik fglrx w sekcji "device" i odpaliło się tobie środowisko graficzne to się wgrało. A czy się da większą częstotliwość? Najprawdopodobniej da się.

coś nie do końca są poprawnie zainstalowane, powinno być coś w stylu:

hmmm...dziwne, repo niby masz livne, kernel aktualny...

zobacz jeszcze co daje rpm -qa |grep kmod-fglrx, pokaz zawartosc twojego /etc/X11/xorg.conf i mozesz tez pokazac co masz wpisane w /etc/yum.repos.d/livna.repo

Sciagnij i zainstaluj z palca (czyli przy uzyciu rpm)

kmod-fglrx-8.28.8-1.2.6.17_1.2187_FC5.i686.rpm

oraz

xorg-x11-drv-fglrx-8.28.8-1.lvn5.i386.rpm (<- nie zapomniales przypadkiem o tym ?)

rpm -ivh *.rpm

wydane jako root w katalogu ze sciagnietymi paczkami powinno zalatwic sprawe...

Powiedz, czy zadzialalo (czy system sie nie plul i pozwolil zainstalowac oba pakiety...). Jesli nie powiem Ci co dalej

Zmień w xorg

        Driver      "radeon"

na

        Driver      "fglrx"

reboot i wtedy zobacz czy działa. Oczywiście nie zapomnij wcześniej sprawdzić czy masz zainstalowane to o czym wspomniał exbros

rpm -q xorg-x11-drv-fglrx

a jeśli nie ma zainstalowanego to

rpm -ivh http://rpm.livna.org/fedora/5/i386/xorg-x11-drv-fglrx-8.28.8-1.lvn5.i386.rpm

i powinno zatrybić w końcu
