Fedora 4 Radeon 9550 Brak 3d

Niby jest wszystko zainstalowane jak potrezba jednak brak jest 3D może to wina chipsetu gdyż mam płytę główna na SIS-ie.Bardzo proszę o jakieś sugestje.

czy da sie coś z tym zrobić?

U mnie także był problem, mimo zainstalowania sterów nadal była mesa, ale już nie pamiętam kolejności, chyba te z livny mają problem, bo pomogło odpalenie instalatora proponowanego przez producenta www.ati.com. Grzebanie w xorg.con na wiele się nie zdaje, jedena z bibliotek OpenGL źle wchodzi w system. Ściągnij stery z ati, zmień nazwę z bin na run i daj uprawnienia do uruchamiania, uruchom go na uprawnieniach root.

Niestety nie pomaga.Brak jest modułu agpgart i chyba dlatego własnie (_niedziała_ → nie działa) ORT.Płyta główna to asrock na chipsecie sisa.Widzę ze tu chyba jest problem.Pozostaje chyba tylko zmiana płyty głównej a to zawsze wydatek.

A ja widzę inny problem. Pewnie masz stare jądro i nowe sterowniki nie działają Ci ze starym jądrem =] Zresztą nawet na Livna nie ma modułów do starych kerneli do najnowszych sterowników =] Radzę zaktualizować system i jeszcze raz wgrać sterowniki

Także tak myslałem wiec zaktualizowałem jądro do 2.6.15 ale niestety problem pozostał.....
