Dodawanie Czcionek

Witam

 

Chciałem sobie dodać do Fedorki czcionki Windowsa i inne.

 

Stworzyłem katalog /home/adrub/.fonts

 

wpakowałem tam czcionki

 

dodałem ten katalog w pliku /etc/fonts/fonts.conf

Lecz niestety czcionek nie ma... sprawdziłem w system > preferencje > wygląd > czcionki >szczegóły > folder czcionek

Tam też ich nie widać. Za to jak chciałem je tam przekopiować (normalnie przeniosłem myszką) to pisze że taki plik istnieje i czy chcę go napisać... czcionki są w formacie .ttf

 

O co tutaj chodzi? Co robię źle?

skasowałem wpis w fonts.conf, zrobiłem tak jak pisze w faq, wyskoczył mi kilka razy że te czcionki już ma... klikałem zastąp wszystkie... ale czcionek jak nie było tak nie ma... oczywiście zrobiłem restart x-ów

problem z fontami w katalogu domowym jest taki, że może z nich korzystać tylko konkretny użytkownik; ja jak potrzebuję fontów, to je kopiuję do /usr/share/fonts/mojefajne/ i wpisuję jako root service xfs restart

Dobra dzięki to działa... wytłumaczcie mi tylko, czemu nie działa moja metoda... czemu tak się nie da... znalazłem plik fonts.conf miejsce gdzie są wpisywane foldery z czcionkami, dodałem swój folder i nic... czemu taka metoda jest nieskuteczna?

jak juz wcześniej wspomniano, może być problem z uprawnieniami, poza tym po co dodawałeś skoro wpis się pokrywa z ~/.fonts ?

no dobra czaję... jeszcze jedno pytanie.. jak to jest z czcionkami .pcf ?? Bo ja ich nie widzę nigdzie, a są w folderze obok tego z fontami true type
