Gdy wpisuje w konsoli ./NVIDIA-Linux-x86-1.0-4496-pkg2.run

pokazuje mi sie zeby zaakceptowal a potem ze nie mam kernel-source o co chodzi ?

Chodzi o to, że nie ma kernel-source Doinstaluj pakiet kernel-source w takiej wersji jaka jest wersja jądra (sprawdź poleceniem uname -r).

zainstalowalem wlasnie przez synaptica [apt] pakiet kernell-source do 2.4.22-1.2115.nptl a wlasciwie to mialem zainstalowane.... i d*pa

Jak używasz synaptica to łatwiej stery do nvidii zainstalujesz IHMO tak:

 

1. kernel#2.4.22-1.2188.nptl

2. kernel-module-nvidia-2.4.22-1.2188.nptl

3. nvidia-graphics-kmdl-2.4.22-1.2188.nptl

4. nvidia-graphics5328-kmdl-2.4.22-1.2188.nptl

A jak czegoś będzie brakować to synaptic i tak się upomni.

W kazdym razie ja w 15 minut byłem po robocie.

oczywiście możesz zostać przy wersji 2115, ale jak już to i lepiej nowsze jądro zastosować

Sa też 4363, 4496 i 4620. Możesz wypróbować, który u Ciebie najlepiej sie sprawdzi - z tego co czytałem, u każdego co innego lepiej chodzi.

Raczej powinna. W przypadku sterowników do grafiki nie ryzykowałbym z inną wersją, choć może działać. A sterowniki pod Twoją na pewno są, bo też kiedyś miałem to jądro. Czemu nie pobierzecie sobie ze strony nvidia.com instalatora, który sam kompiluje źródełka? Jest przystępny i nie sprawia u mnie żadnych problemów.

No toż pisalem, że sa też 2115, jeśli nie chcesz uaktualniać jądra.

..... Czemu nie pobierzecie sobie ze strony nvidia.com instalatora, który sam kompiluje źródełka? Jest przystępny i nie sprawia u mnie żadnych problemów.

tez tak się męczyłem. Mam zintegrowaną sieciówkę i dźwięk na nforce + kartę graf nVidii. Zawsze z czymś był problem. A raz jak już niby wszystko działało, tylko, że muzykę grała tylko z AlsaPlayera, grafika nie wiadomo skąd bo na starcie nie pojawialo się logo nVidii, o filmach lepiej nie mówić.

Przeszedłem teraz na kernela 2188 + wszystkie wynalazki do tego jądra związane z nforce i nvidią i mam wszystko tak jak ustawa przewiduje.

W synapticu nie musisz potrafić - zaznaczasz pakiety które chcesz uaktualnić, klikasz "uaktualnij" i ewentalnie się zgadzasz na spelnienie zalezności i idziesz zrobić sobie kawę. Po powrocie pewnie będziesz miał już nowe jądro i przy następnym starcie systemu wybierasz start z nowego jądra. Jeśli wszystko jest ok. to będziesz mógł odinstalować starszą wersję jądra(też apt-em)

Mam pytanie - (_napewno_ → na pewno) ORT dobrze Ci sie te source'y zainstalowaly? I (_napewno_ → na pewno) ORT dobra wersja?

Zrob ls /usr/src , a nastepnie ls /usr/src/linux-2.4.22-1.2115.nptl (chyba, ze juz zmieniles kernela, to numerek bedzie oczywiscie inny ) i napisz co Ci wyszlo - czy przypadkiem ten katalog nie jest pusty.

Poza tym sprawdz czy masz dzialajacego symlinka do wlasciwej wersji zrodel w tym samym katalogu (/usr/src) , powinien sie on nazywac linux-2.4.

to się już dobrze instaluje? (tak tylko zgaduję, bo nie mam pojęcia dlaczego nie chce się skompilować)

 

PS takie mieszanie repozytoriów nie jest najlepszym pomysłem
