Instalator widział źródłą :-) Tak jak napisałem wcześniej - trzeba ustawić kompilator taki jaki był używany do budowy jądra (gcc32).

 

Ponieważ instaltor nadpisuje niektóre pliki należące do XFree86-Mesa-libGL, warto zainstalować sterowniki z paczki RPM. Albo znajdź w necie jakąś pasującą do Twojego jądra (BTW nie używasz oficjalnego kernela, tylko tego z http://atrpms.net/), albo samemu przebuduj - ja używałem tego:

Hmm, atsmp? Masz wiecej niz jeden procesor w swoim komputerze? Bo jesli sie nie myle to SMP to wersja dla maszyn wieloprocesorowych wlasnie.

Może ma Intela z hyperthreating

No tak, tez mozliwe (jakos mi nie wpadlo do glowy, ze HT przez jadra SMP jest obslugiwany ). Ale tak czy inaczej IMHO lepiej instalowac jadra oficjalne

Hmm... Czy jak wpiszesz w konsli

CC="gcc32" sh NVIDIA-Linux-x86-coś_tam

to się już dobrze instaluje? (tak tylko zgaduję, bo nie mam pojęcia dlaczego nie chce się skompilować)

"CC=gcc32" - bez tego instaluje się już normalnie instaluje - problem był z pierwszymi jądrami

Oficjalne jest 2.4.22-1.2188.nptl

Z dopiskami typu "48.rhfc1.atsmp" to na własne ryzyko.

at - jest z http://ATrpms.net, a smp oznacza, że jest przeznaczone do maszyn wieloprocesorowych

mam p4 bez HT poprostu myslalem ze to jest najnowsza wersja zaraz zmienie
