Witam ponownie

 

Tym razem cos o efektach pulpitu. A konkretnie to nie mogę ich włączyć. Przy próbie właczenia pojawia się informacja:

 

Desktop effects cannot be anabled

 

Po wpisaniu w terminalu desctop effects wyskakuje błąd:

 

(desktop-effects:30186): Gdk-CRITICAL **: gdk_x11_atom_to_xatom_for_display: assertion `atom != GDK_NONE' failed

Ten błąd nie ma z tym nic wspólnego, uruchom w terminalu compiz --replace o powiedz co wypluło.

Po wpisaniu compiz --replace wywaliło:

Plik /usr/lib64/xorg/modules/extensions/libglx.so powinien być linkiem do /usr/lib64/xorg/modules/extensions/libglx.so.185.* sprawdź czy tak jest, bo ładuje zły glx, tzn. nie od nvidii.

i to właśnie był problem. Wskazany przez Ciebie plik nie był linkiem, skopiowałem plik libglx.so z folderu /usr/lib64/xorg/modules/extensions/nvidia do /usr/lib64/xorg/modules/extensions/ i już wszystko gra.

Jeśli kiedyś aktualizowany będzie pakiet xorg-x11-server zabieg trzeba będzie powtórzyć.
