Rekomendowane odpowiedzi

WIem ze to banalne pytanie, ale jakos nie moge nidgzie znalezc, wlacznie z forum. Jak zmienic na stale rozdzielczosc? Uzywam XFCE u jest opcja zmiany rozdzielczosci, ale nie zmienia jej na stale. xrandr tez zmienia rozdzielczosc na jedna sesje, wiec co powinienem zrobic? Domyslam sie ze chodzi o xorg.conf ale nie orientuje sie co dokladniej.

Bzdura nic nie nadpisuje pozwala tylko na użycie konfiguracji w starcie RHGB i tyle. A w nvidii rozdzielczość sie ustawia z uruchamianego z prawami roota nvidia-settings i wtedy to dopisuje do xorg.conf co trzeba i nie ma potrzeby jakiekoś sadomasochistycznego edytowania ręcznie xorg.confa. Zycie jest po to żeby je sobie ułatwiać a nie utrudniać.

u mnie na ten kreatorek na upartego wywalal z xorg.confa wpis Option "AIGLX" "off", bez której nie wstaja mi Xsy z akceleracja; ot przypadki posiadacza RIVA TNT2; dlatego ostrzegalem

Zgadza sie ale nie przy starcie tylko przy nacisnieciu nim OK. Po prostu trzeba bylo w nim zaznaczyc reczna konfiguracje i zaptaszyc AIGLX ;) Swoja droga to jest dziwne ze bez tego ci X-y nie wstaja bo to nie ma az takiego wplywu na konfiguracje serwera X.

Czesc, to moze ja sie podepne. Wlozylem ostatnio do kompa Rive TNT2. Po zainstalowaniu z livny sterow nvidia-legacy iksy startuja mi w rozdzielczosci 800x600 i za nic nie daja sie zmienic.

Probowalem wpisu w xorg.conf na cos w tym stylu :

Ale wpis jest nawet nie nadpisywany tylko ignorowany ;) Odptaszenie w livna-config-display nic nie daje. W nvidia-settings nie ma nic odnosnie rozdzielczosci (albo ja nie widze ;) ).

Aha, przed instalacja sterow z livny wyciagalo kosmiczne (jak na 32MB) resy.

Sory za brak odpowiedzi, ale bylem jakis czas pozbawiony neta. Tak sie sklada, ze w miedzyczasie wyszla F7. Zainstalowalem ja i na prawie czystej (ew. kadu, opera) dzieje sie dokladnie to samo. Po instalacji kmod_nvidia_legacy i restarcie, przed odpaleniem sie iksow pokazuje sie logo nvidi a potem desktop w resie 800x600. Co fajniejsze, niebieski ekran z logiem Fedory, podczas ladowania sie uslug jest w resie widocznie wyzszym.

 

 

zacznijmy od najprostszego wariantu - próbowales to ustawic przy pomocy system-config-display?

 

Po instalacji paczek w system-config-display mam do wyboru tylko 800x600 i 640xz480

 

X-Window zapewne sam zaczal przeszukiwac dostepne tryby i bledy w ich wprowadzaniu zapisal w swoim logu. Sprawdz tam - obok literek "EE" jest napisane, co zawidolo ("Out of range", "No more screens left" itp).

Pomozesz mi to rozszyfrowac?

Problem w tym ze (_linuxa_ → Linuksa) ORT uzywalem tylko w text mode i w iksach jestem lame.

Mozliwe ze gdzies popelniam jakas oczywista glupote ale tak to juz bywa z brakiem doswiadczenia :)

Witam

Cisza w temacie ;) A interesuje mnie rozwiązanie tego problemu, gdyż mam ten sam problem. Sterowniki NVIdia niby działają prawidłowo 3D też ale niestety rozdzielczości nie da sie ustawić większej niż 800x600.

Czy wie ktoś dlaczego.

Karta graficzna to Riva TNT2 32MB.

Nieładnie odpowiadać sobie samemu ale może komus się jeszcze to przyda.

Jeżeli macie starą karte graficzną np Riva TNt 2 i po wgraniu sterowników nvidia niby wszystko działa ok ale max rozdzielczość jaką możecie ustawić to 800x600 proponuje xorg.conf dodac ręcznie nazwę i parametry monitora oraz karty graficznej. U mnie pomogło.

Czesc. Sory za chwilowy brak zainteresowania tematem ale znowu brak neta. (przy okazji ostrzege swiat przed zlem ktore przybralo imie airbites.net ;) - uwaga, ostrzegam). Probowalem dodawac cos do mojego xorg.confa (definicje sprzetu) ale nic to nie dawalo. Wreszcie skopiowalem na przyslowiowego chama twoj config i o dziwo odpalilo sie w 1024x768 :) Potem dodalem "1280x1024" i tez zaskoczylo :)

 

Na razie [solved], jutro, na wypoczetego, bedziemy sie przygladac blizej :)
