Fedora 11 Kernel Pae

Witam!!

 

Po instalacji kernela PAE i sterów nvidii na pierwszy rzut oka wszytsko wydaje się wporządku jednak po jakims czasie fedora sie zawiesza, a następnie ekran staje sie bioalo czarny na wzor Polskiej flagi :P

 

Dlatego tez odinstalowalem kernela PAE i przywrucilem zwyklego. Dalej nie jestem pewien czy ten zabiegl jakos pomogl jednak juz od 30 minut wyzej wymieniony efekt nie powstal.

 

W zwiazku z tym mam pare pytań. Otóż:

-Dlaczego wykrywa iż posiadam 3,9 a nie 4GB??

-Czy zwykly kernel bedzie sprawowal sie gorzej z jakiegos wzgledu na mojej maszynie(asusX71sn,[Duo t5800,4GB,GeForce9650m GT]+8GB patrycji SWAP)??

-Czy może być jakiś inny powód wystąpienia ww błedu??

 

ps Przy okazji:

-Dlaczego wifi na fedorze dziala okolo 10 razy wolniej niz na Win??

-Czy da sie jakos zmienic ten stan rzeczy??

czy karta graficzna nie pozycza czasami pamieci ram ? 8gb swap? a po co? wystarczy 4gb albo mniej. no i tak w ogole po co instalowales kernel PAE przy pamieci 4GB przeciez nie przekroczyles limitu. jakie sterowniki do karty graficznej instalowales? lepiej z linii 180.x niz 185 ze wzgledu na pewne problemy z zawieszaniem sie X-ow. co do sieci: jaka to karta sieciowka, jaki sterownik, jaki modul zaladowales. ogolnie to nic konkretnego nie napisales. wylistuj podstawowe rzeczy: lspci, dmesg etc.

Pewnie wyczytane gdzieś w sieci "mądrości", że swap ma być 2x większy niż RAM ;)

To chyba domyślne jądro w 32-bitowej F11?

heh właśnie tak wyczytałem:) ale wyczytalem tez ze nie trzeba :) Jednak miejsca u mnie nie brakuej na dysku więć tak asekuracyjnie zostawiłęm. Co do kernela tez właśnie zauwazylem ze jest domyslny:)

stery do grafy instalowalem akmode, teraz z nvidi planowalem najnowsze zainstalowac. Jednak jak mówisz ze lepsze 180.

 

Co do neta to domyslne sterowniki WIFI w fedorze 11, jednak po aktualizacji chyba nieznacznie przyspieszył. Spowolnienie neta objawia sie przy wczytywaniu nowego servera. Gdy klikam na jakis odnosnik lub otwieram strone z tego samego servera w następnej zakłatce to chodzi szybko. Problem jest wtedy jesli wpisuje jakis nowy server lub klikam na odnosnik po nieco dluzszym czasie. Czy może to miec cos wspolnego zabezpieczeniami rutera?? Czy Fedora sprawdza poswiadczenia w nieco inny sposob niz Win?? Jedyne zabezpieczenie rutera jakie posiadam to wap na 128 bitowe haslo w systemie 16.

co to znaczy domyslne sterowniki? to nic nie mowi. pokaz chociaz wydruk z tych polecen co Ci podalem na poczatku

@Wal-do hmm a ja myslalem ze jest zwykly no coz ;d tak to jest jak sie siedzi na 64 bitach ;]

Domyslnie mu sie zainstalowal, bo przekroczyl limit chyba, ze GeForce9650m GT nie ma ani bajta pamieci wlasnej :P

 

nie-PAE potrafi zaadresowac do 4GB pamieci, niestety limit ten oznacza adresowanie calej pamieci wlacznie z pamiecia karty graficznej... wiec jesli masz w maszynie 4GB to przy 32bitach potrzebujesz PAE - inaczej nie wykorzystasz calosci :)

... no chyba, ze masz grafike z kompletna amnezja (czyt.: zupelnie bez pamieci) ;)

nie-PAE potrafi zaadresowac do 4GB pamieci, niestety limit ten oznacza adresowanie calej pamieci wlacznie z pamiecia karty graficznej... wiec jesli masz w maszynie 4GB to przy 32bitach potrzebujesz PAE - inaczej nie wykorzystasz calosci :)

... no chyba, ze masz grafike z kompletna amnezja (czyt.: zupelnie bez pamieci) ;)

a to jest wlasnie bardzo ciekawe jak oni to rozwiazali, przeciez karta graficzna ma swoja pamiec, ew jak sobie pozyczy ilestam MB, co zapewne ustawia sie w biosie nie powinno byc z tym problemu. no ale to nie windows przeciez -w windowsie jedni widza 3,27GG inni 3.5 ;d, jak mialem zwykly kernel to widzialo mi pelne 4gb wiec nie wiem w czym rzecz. wydawalo mi sie ze pae ma wplyw tylko na ram...

ps hehe a z grafą dalej sobie nieradze :) cokolwiek bym nie zainstalował to po resecie fedora sie nie wczytuje. Jestem początkowym uzytkownikiem tak wiec jesli nie wczytami systemu graficznego to jestem bezradny i musze reinstalowac system :) Ale jeśli mogłby mnie ktoś dokładnie pokierować to jeszcze bym sie za to zabrał dzis:D:D

Ale ze znacznikami słuszna uwaga. Diabli mnie biorą jak widzę pseudofachowy wydruk na 15 ekranów wklejony zupełnie bez celu (chyba, że się mylę i jest tutaj ktoś kto nosem wciąga i przetwarza takie listingi).

ja mam opendns

 

Problem grafy juz chyba rozwiązany :) Zainstalowałem w trybie tekstowym nvdia 180.60 pod kazdym innym sterownikiem system padał. A i tak z trudem przyszła mi ta instalacja, ale to juz z niewiedzy:) Otóż nie wiedzialem jak init 3 czyscic z kolorowych kulfonów :P

 

Teraz pozostalo tylko to wifi. Niestet nie moge znaleść na tym forum zadnego tematu który mógłby mi pomóc. Najprawdopodobnie zle szukam bo wpisuje wolne wifi i wifi dns ale pod tymi haslami nic nie znalazłem.

 

Używam rutera D-link, neta dostarcza mi IS przez kabelek.

 

Ale nie wiem jaki może byc problem z DNS??

Tutaj mam takie same jakie podalem na ruterze
