To dziwne - daje radę nagrywać cd, daje radę odczytać cd z systemem Fedora i zainstalować system a cd z danymi mi nie czyta (próbowałem wiele różnych), wcześniej je czytał. Dodatkowo kiedy wysuwam cd rom od razu go wsuwa spowrotem.

Odnośnie wysuwania tacki cdrom (problem występował przy instalacji z livecd, ale może to to) - jeśli masz zainstalowany w systemie pakiet anaconda, to dodaje on swoje polityki w pliku /lib/udev/rules.d/70-anaconda.rules, które powodują ten błąd. Wystarczy

Myślisz że to wina KDE?

Zawsze obok Gnome/Kde instaluje LXDE zaraz sprawdzę czy pod nim będzie ok

Zły trop. Nic nie daje zmiana środowiska graficznego. To samo się dzieje...

 

Próba ręcznego zamontowania kończy się takim komunikatem: mount: can`t find /dev/cdrom in /etc/fstab or /etc/mtab płyty z obrazami iso działają normalnie. Po włożeniu cd z danymi słychać że cdrom pracuje, pracuje (ale dziwnie!) a potem nic się nie dzieje...

Wykluczając niesprawny napęd i/lub uszkodzone płyty to takie błędy odczytu mogą wystąpić na przykład jeśli dysk i dvd są na jednym kablu ide i są źle ustawione ("cable select" na obu też może nie być odpowiednie).

Przy ręcznym montowaniu dvd, jeśli nie ma wpisów w fstab trzeba wydać polecenie w stylu:

mount -t ISO9660 /dev/sr0 /mnt/dvd

Katalog /mnt/dvd to tylko przykład, ważne tylko aby podany katalog montowania istniał na dysku.

Ja mam inny problem z automatycznym montowaniem. Nie mam wpisu w /etc/fstab, wszystko dzieje się chyba przez udev (dyski montowane do "/media"). Nie montuje dysków UDF (został stwożony ponieważ na DVD był duży plik). Jeśli zamontuje ręcznie w konsoli jako UDF to jest ok. Czy można jakoś wymusić w udev montowanie typów iso9660,udf a nie tylko tego 1.-ego?
