Jeszcze raz Was musze poprosić o pomoc.. Tym razem z rozdzielczością.. Kombinuję, kombinuję i cały czas wyświetla się 1024:768, a chcę żeby było 1680x1050.

Dodaj może wszystkie opcje, takie jak w #12. Zostaje jeszcze kwestia opcji Modeline w Sekcji Monitor:

generuje:

Modeline "1680x1050_60.00"  147.14  1680 1784 1968 2256  1050 1051 1054 1087  -HSync +Vsync

Ale jeśli wejść na ten kalkulator to w momencie zaznaczenia 16/9 rozdzielczość zmienia się automatycznie na 1650x928. Ustaw sobie zresztą dokładne wartości i zobacz. Pamiętaj tylko, że rozdzielczość jaką wpiszesz w Modeline trzeba uwzględnić w opcji modes sekcji Screen. No i oczywiście, jak zobaczysz w kalkulatorze, wyświetla się ostrzeżenie "Używasz tych wartości Modeline na własne ryzyko"

Akurat gtf u mnie wygenerował takie same dane. Problem jedynie z tymi zaklóceniami. Na Ubuntu 9.10 sytuacja jest taka sama. Na Kubuntu 9.10 tego nie ma. Z czego to wynika? Przecież w Ubuntu i Kubuntu zainstalowałem ten sam sterownik, wersja Xorga też są takie same.. Może różnia w tym, że Kubuntu zainstalowałem w wersji x86_64?

W każdym razie dziwne.

To może być związane z platformą i sterownikami. Od wersji sterownika 185 miałem ciągłe problemy z migotaniem ekranu, dziwnymi artefaktami i zakłóceniami. Dopiero niedawno asus udostępnił aktualizację, która rozwiązała ten problem (bios). Poszukaj może na stronie producenta laptopa.
