Nie, glx nie sprawia.. tzn jest 'Yes' ale podejrzewam, ze to kwestia fakty istnienia mesy:

ani jednego E errora,ani jednego W warning,mysle ze szukacie problemu nie tu gdzie trzeba.

 

Zrobilbym tak.Przeinstalowal xorg-server,mesa nvidie i reboot.Tu juz bym nie odpalil fedory,posilkowalbym sie jakas liveCD i sprawdzil czy na niej mam rozdzialke ok.Jesli tak to skorzystalbym z xorg.conf i skopiowal do fedory.Po odpaleniu z podmienionym xorg.conf (oczywiscie umiescilbym w niej jesli nie ma odpowiednia rozdzielczosc) luknalbym w Xorg.0.log i jeszcze raz popatrzyl na errory i warningi.Jesli nie byloby to juz mialbym pewnosc ze problem nie tu lezy.

Tu akurat ważniejsze jest, aby nazwy identyfikatorów pokrywały się z tymi z sekcji ServerLayout. Nie czytałem całego wątku, ale na Twoim miejscu wygenerowałbym xorga poleceniem nvidia-xconfig, potem restart i na końcu ustawiłbym rozdzielczość w panelu nvidii nvidia-settings (można wymusić w zakładce X Server Display Configuration i opcja Advance).

jedyna rzecz ktora przychodzi mi do glowy,ale zaznaczam ze to bez sensu jak dla mnie to plik 915resolution i sciezka do sprawdzenia /etc/default/915resolution.Jest to plik i sciezka ktora wymusza rozdzielczosc,ale dla zewnetrznego monitora (laptop+monitor podpiety pod niego).Moze nie wiedziec czemu ten pakiet jest zainstalowany i traktuje monitor MC' jako zewnetrzny???

Co do kilku userów zgadzam sie z Sorror-em,to bez sensu,xsy to sprawa systemu a nie ilosci kont userskich,kazdy zalogowany korzysta z tych samych plików konfiguracyjnych,no chyba ze jest jakis myk na indywidualne ustawienia,a w tym wypadku problematyczny zapis siedzi w /home.Ktos juz radzil stworzenie nowego usera i backup plików i jak dla mnie to jedyne i rozsadne wyjscie z tarapatów.Ja bym stworzyl usera i po kolei przekopiowywal pliki z kontrowersyjnego konta i sprawdzal co i jak.Po backupie wywalilbym cale stare konto i to tyle.

Xorg.conf jest wspólny dla wszystkich a problem wystepuje u jednego usera ... wiec modzenie z nim to nie koniecznie przyczyna problemu. po prostu wywale nvidie i pozostane na mesie do momentu wyjscia 14 bo sprawa jak widac nie jest oczywista a szkoda czasu na wymuszanie dzialania nvidii jak dziala mesa i niedlugo bedzie 14 ;)

Grepnij katalog domowy usera i /etc dla '800'! :) Moze cos ciekawego sie pojawi. Niecodzienny problem wiec ja bym tak szybko nie odpuszczal.

 

A z bardziej kreatywnego myslenia: utwórz nowego uzytkownika, wyczysc caly katalog home i wklej tam cala zawartosc home problematycznego usera, pomijajac pliki multimedialne ofc.
