dziwne zachowanie dnf z pakietem rpm

zupełnie tego nie rozumiem:

[root@windlifter Downloads]# dnf install jre-8u231-linux-x64.rpm

dnf nie potrafi już lokalnie instalować rpm-ów ?

Potrafi, ale trochę za dobrze pilnuje zależności.

whereis cp

I zobaczysz, czemu nie działa. Załoga Fedory robi ostatnio porządek z katalogiem / . Idzie to jak po grudzie i, jak widać, nie pomaga bardziej tradycyjnym aplikacjom.

To nie jest problem z dnf (dnf nadal potrafi instalować lokalne rpmy), ale z samym pakietem rpm. Obecnie wszystkie programy są w /usr/bin zamiast w /bin.
